● Repurposing vacant lots and creating or supporting community gardens and green spaces with residents and corporate partners. This includes the development of the Cadillac Urban Gardens and Scarcyny Park in partnership with Ideal Group, General Motors, and Grow Detroit’s Young Talent Program through the City of Detroit.

● Healthy Business program. Helping dozens of companies to implement pollution reduction projects. Some successes have included tree plantings to reduce fugitive dust, rain garden installations to improve aesthetics and reduce flooding, and grants to upgrade older fleets to cleaner fuel vehicles.

● Eliminating air pollution in Southwest Detroit by reducing diesel emissions from heavy-duty trucks.
